If you come to the Comox Valley, you can walk down to the beaches, and be awed and amazed by the navy blue water, and find discarded moon snail shells. Lift rocks, and find young crabs that try to pinch your fingers, but too young to cause harm.
Or, go elsewhere into our many forests and travel down trails you never knew existed until this moment. Living among these trees are squirrels, wood peckers, and other animals waiting to be found.
During the wintertime, hike up Mount Washington and explore the hiking trails that go yonder. You may also go skiing or snowboarding.
You can also feed the whiskey-jacks, small birds, that soar right into your palm and eat the crumbs or seed in your hand. So, if you ever come to the Comox Valley, you might never want to leave.
